Johanna-Adele Jüssi (born in 1986 in Tallinn) is a contemporary tradition carrier from Estonia who is currently living in Norway. She is a curious fiddler, who with openness has travelled and played, studied and taught. Her expression is both elegant and raw, storytelling and spellbinding.
Johanna-Adele has a Master in Nordic Folk Music, having studied traditional music in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Before that she studied Estonian traditional music at Viljandi Culture Academy.
With plenty of teaching experience, she is regularly instructing at different folk music camps internationally.

Her sensitive and equilibrist fiddle playing makes me already now without hesitation name her to the fiddler of the year. / Lira Musikmagasin, Bengt Edqvist
She definitely makes the violin sing in several different ways. / Chris Nickson
